Recently my fiancé and I lost our dog to cancer. We are really lost without
him and would love to give a forever loving home to another dog. We would prefer
either a puppy or young male dog, a small, medium or medium-large breed. My partner
works nights and I work part time during the day, so the dog will not be left alone for
long periods of time and we are able to give him loads of love and attention. We
live near several parks, a woods and a lake, where we will be able to take him for plenty
of walks. We live in a house where we have an enclosed garden for him to relax and
play. We do not have any other pets, so settling in will be less stressful, but we
would prefer a dog that does get along with other animals. We do not have any
children, but young relatives do visit frequently, so the dog must be child friendly
Depending on age, we would like the dog to have been neutered, if not we can arrange this
ourselves, as we do not wish to breed, we just want to provide a loving home. We
would require you to show us evidence of vaccinations etc that they have had to date.
Please let us know if your dog has been microchipped as we will be
microchipping. We welcome any genuine questions you may have.
Please only contact us if you have a Bradford or Leeds postcode or are willing to travel
as we do not have access to a car.
We would rehome from the dogs trust, but we live quite a distance away and it is
difficult to access via public transport.
